RTK Installation Guide B -- Adding RTK to the app

Prerequisite

Before proceeding, confirm that the RTK is physically installed in a suggested spot as illustrated in RTK Installation Guide A -- Finding the Spot.

Currently, adding an RTK base station via mobile phone involves the following 3 steps:

a. Connect the base station to a WiFi network.

b. Signal check：

• Satellite count must be >= 29
• WiFi signal must be >= -70 dBm (recommended 0 to -65 dBm)

c. Set the location

Note: 

• Steps 1 and 2 are used to determine the ideal locations; verify the signal is correct before finalizing the location.
• If the signal does not meet requirements (e.g., insufficient satellites or weak WiFi signal), drilling holes in the wall may lead to installation failure and user complaints.
