Verify that the wheels are free from physical barriers, constraints, or external forces that could hinder their movement. It should be able to spin smoothly. If not, apply an appropriate amount of lubricant and see if that improves the situation.
False Lift Alarms on Flat Ground (Error Code 154)
If the mower repeatedly triggers the "lifted" alarm on flat ground with no actual lifting, the front wheel axle mechanism may be sticking, causing the wheel to pop up slightly and trigger the hall sensors.
Solution:
- Apply lubricant grease to the front wheel axle (see the Maintenance section for detailed instructions). This is the same wheel axle maintenance described in the user manual.
- Rotate the wheel to distribute the grease evenly.
- Test the mower to see if the false alarms stop.
If the issue persists after lubrication, the wheel assembly may need replacement — contact BESTMOW support.
Note: "Wheel axle" in this article refers specifically to the front wheel axle. The rear wheels are driven by sealed motors and do not have a serviceable axle — never apply lubricant to the rear wheels.
